Last night we had the absolute honor and joy of attending the annual Alatheia Gala Auction — an incredible event that celebrates compassion, connection, and community.
For those who may not be familiar, Alatheia empowers individuals through Equine Assisted Services right here in North Central Washington. Their programs include therapeutic riding, veteran and first responder support, and life and work skills for adults with disabilities. Watching the impact of their gentle Norwegian Fjord horses on so many lives is truly inspiring.
Over the past year, Brent and I have both had the privilege of volunteering with Alatheia and have seen firsthand how much love and dedication goes into their work. When we were invited to this year’s gala, we knew we wanted to give back in a meaningful way — so we donated one of our puppies to be auctioned off in support of their mission.
The energy in the room was amazing! Surrounded by generous and kindhearted people, together we helped raise over $350,000 for Alatheia’s programs. One very lucky family was the highest bidder for the Mountain Home Doodle puppy and will now go through our puppy matching process to be paired with a sweet pup from our Summer Storm litter.
We left the evening feeling deeply grateful — for the chance to support such a wonderful organization and for the reminder of what can happen when a community comes together.
❤️ Community… making a difference, one act of love at a time. ❤️
